Orton-Gillingham Training
Are you looking to learn more about Orton-Gillingham, or are you interested in training and/or seeking certification as an Orton-Gillingham practitioner?
Sarah offers training classes at the Classroom Educator (Level 1), Associate (Level 2), and Certified (Level 3) levels.
Classroom Educator courses are designed to provide the information and guidance you need to incorporate the Orton-Gillingham approach in a whole class.
Associate coursework goes deeper, providing more in-depth information about the English written code. Additionally, it provides the training you would need to effectively provide remediation services to a student in a one-on-one or small group setting.
Certified coursework is an even deeper dive, providing skill refinement to the mastery level needed to support complex students.
In addition to regular coursework, Sarah offers Practicums at the Level 1 and Level 2 levels. Practicums provide the “student teaching” portion of the training, and observations with feedback are parts of the process.
Orton-Gillingham classes vary by length and topic. Updated courses will be listed below. Sarah will also come to your school to provide training classes for your teachers on your campus. Email Sarah for more information.
